Georgia: Listing of Free Government Phone Providers

GeorgiaLow-income residents in the state of Georgia have the opportunity to receive either a free or deeply discounted device (with free airtime/texting and data) or a discount on their home landline. These services are made possible thanks to the federal Lifeline and Affordable Connectivity Programs (ACP).

Below is a listing of phone service providers offering free or discounted government phones and services in the state of Georgia:

This list may not contain all of the phone companies in Georgia that participate in the Lifeline free and discounted phone service, but it is a good start. As we become aware of more companies, we will add them (or delete the ones no longer in service).

For Your InformationDid You Know?: According to the Universal Service Administrative Company, of the 1,122,972 households eligible to participate in the Lifeline program as of April 2023, only 27% actually enroll. That's right. Only 304,167 eligible households are taking advantage of the Lifeline/ACP benefits.
